Pannunion Plc has a three-decades experience in making rigid PS, PP and PVC film products and in the production and decoration of thermoformed, fine, rigid packaging materials. As a result of the relevant investments of the past years, the company's range of products has been expended with the production of barrier films and with the implementation of sleeving technology. We possess all modern technologies for the production of fine, rigid packaging materials in order to satisfy our customers' requirements.

Production of PVC sheets

The company has rigid PVC sheet production capacity of approximately 7 thousand tonnes. The sheets are produced with Calandrette technology, applying three rolls. We have a broad range of products to meet customer demand as we manufacture sheets with variable levels of impact resistance, with different deep drawability, sheets that protect against vine faults and that have other special qualities. For production efficiency, we manufacture the so called "mother rolls" in a separate phase and the material is then cut based on the customer's requirement.

Among the technical films, producing films for pipe jacketing with fire retarding characteristics is of utmost importance. The significant features of these products are the dull surface and the rolling property provided by using an embossing unit and a rolling device.
