Thermoforming
The production of thermoformed products is mostly like deep drawing. The film, warmed up to softening temperature, is placed into the tool designed to fit the product shape. In this case, after mechanical preforming, high-pressure compressed air compresses the plastic state film towards the shaping parts of the tool. The shaping parts of the tool are intensively cooled. This allows the product to cool down and harden within the tool. After cutting, the products are removed from the tool and are piled up, then packed. In case of covers, the process is similar, except for a mechanical preforming.
