IML technology
In case of injection moulding combined with IML technology, the first step is to place a special label into the tool. The placement of the label is done by a manipulation unit developed for this purpose. Afterwards the tool is closed and injection moulding starts. After opening the tool, the manipulation unit removes the product from the tool and forwards it into the aligning unit. Applying this technology it is possible to produce high quality packaging materials for the wrapping of premium products .
